Dr. Jayesh Patel completed his MBBS from BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad, in 1996. He then specialised in ENT, obtaining a Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology (DLO) in 1998 and the MS (ENT) degree in 1999, both from Gujarat University.

During his one-year stint at this hospital he performed various head and neck cancer surgeries such as laryngectomy, COMMANDO (COMbined MAndibulectomy and Neck Dissection Operation), radical neck dissection, and thyroid malignancies.
In the year 2000 Dr. Jayesh Patel joined HJ Doshi Hospital, which is one of the largest tertiary care units in Rajkot district. During his two years at the hospital Dr. Patel handled many emergency surgical procedures such as faciomaxillary injury and foreign body in bronchus. He also gained much experience in other ENT surgery procedures such as tympanoplasty, tonsillectomy, septoplasty, thyroid goitre, parotid tumour surgery, etc.
In 2002 Dr. Jayesh, along with his wife Dr. Jigna Patel (who is a Consultant Pediatrician), started their own hospital, located at Guruprasad Chowk in Rajkot. In May 2012 they moved the hospital to more sophisticated premises – Shrey ENT Surgical and Children Hospital – at Anand Bungalow Chowk. This hospital has a state-of-the-art operation theatre; semi, special and deluxe rooms for inpatients, an in-house pharmacy, laboratory, a pediatric department with vaccination centre, a phototherapy centre, and 24x7 emergency facilities.
All kinds of routine and emergency ENT surgeries are done at Shrey Hospital, including pioneering work in micro ear and mastoid surgery by endaural route. Dr. Jayesh Patel has vast experience in FESS, endoscopic DCR, thyroid, parotid, submandibular, and head & neck surgery, having conducted more than 3,000 such operations. He is a visiting faculty and consultant to Wockhardt Hospital, Sterling Hospital and Ashirwad Hospital in Rajkot.
Dr. Jigna Patel graduated from MP Shah Medical College (Saurashtra University) in 1997. She also completed her post-graduation from Saurashtra University, obtaining the MD (Ped) degree in 2000. After working at Jaynath Hospital for two years, she joined her husband at their private hospital and has been practising there as Neonatologist and Pediatrician since then.
